I use a KVM to switch between my two desktops. When I switch from Kubuntu 8.10/KDE4.13 and back the keyboard and mouse no longer work. The only way to get use back is kill the computer with the power switch and restart.

I don't know what happened. After a couple months with this problem last night about midnight it just started working.

I have no idea what, why, or anything else. It just works now for no apparent reason. Sorry to have bothered you.
