Version:           4.1.3 release 70.1 (using KDE 4.1.4)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

while surfing the adressfield grows larger than the window or even the whole screen.

workaraound ( anoying )
remove adressfield and reenable it 

the width of the adressfield should only modifiable by mouse-drag or window-resize and never by the length of the any adress (including parameters )

that's a moderate example

this a a rather moderate example. the left border of the adressfield will sometimes be more out of sight than this time, leaving only half of the adress visible.
