Description Hans Kratochwil 2009-01-21 16:42:03 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc-4.2.4
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

When I change the current plasma theme, the theme of lancelot itself stays the old one. Even if I add a new Lancelot Widget, it does not change the theme of Lancelot.
The only way to apply the new theme is to restart KDE. I think it would be more nice if Lancelot would change it appearance right after the plasmatheme was changed.

I agree with everything said (except restarting KDE - you can restart only Lancelot), it was just the matter of time when this will be reported as bug :)

Lancelot is a separate application to plasma, so it doesn't get the signal that the theme is changed.

With that said, it is not a trivial change, so it will not be added to 4.2.x series, but I'll do it for 4.3.

It seems that this bug is very related with this one:

Forgot to make this as fixed. (it has been for a long time now)
