Description Peter Humphrey 2009-01-19 17:31:50 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I have defined <CTRL>-<SHIFT>-S as Send Queued Messages. I can then press that key combination to send my outgoing mail (I have only one outgoing mail service). If, later, I want to send more outgoing mail, I have to navigate to the outbox before I can send the mail that's in it.

I have also put a Send-Queued-Messages button on the tool bar, but that is greyed out as soon as I first send mail, whether by clicking the button or by pressing the key combination.

My outgoing mail is SMTP to a standard Internet SMTP service operated by my ISP.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
