Hello,

when I select the feature "send file" to icq contact, in the file open dialog, I am able to select multiple files. However, when I press "open" button to send them all, only one file is sent.

At the same time, I can perform the 2nd "send file" action just after the 1st - again by selection the appropriate menu item and again selecting the 2nd in file dialog, - so the person on the other end would receive 2 files at the same time.

So, why not making kopete to be able to send multiple requests to accept multiple files with one action - when those multiple files are all selected in once opened file dialog.

Works here in KDE 4.2 with two Kopete clients and it should also work with ICQ 6. Most likely the other client doesn't support receiving multiple files/dirs.

Could you tell me which client the other user use?

Ok, very nice to hear that it works with kde 4.2

Actually, the client on the other side is using kopete from kde 4.1.3 (from opensuse 11.1), and here on my site I'm using kopete from kde 4.2 (from opensuse factory - the version stated in bugreport) - I was the one who received the files (and at the same time was describing by the phone to the person on the other side how to send them :)).

So, seems that sending multiple files at a time from 4.1.3 did not work, did not try to send them from 4.2 back though

Yes this is only implemented in KDE 4.2 not in KDE 4.1, so I'm marking this as fixed
