Version:           4.1.96 (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

The show desktop wizard is available in KDE 4.1.96, but when I try to install it I get an unknown wizard error. Is there a fix for this?

What exactly is the "show desktop wizard"? Sorry but I don't understand anything of what you are writing. Please add some more information on what you are trying to do exactly.

So, when you are trying to add this widget on the desktop you get an error? This is probably a packaging bug. Ensure that you have a recent version of kdeplasma-addons installed properly.

Ok I did that and now it works.
