This turns out not to be a bug. Very strange,these default settings in this new kmail. To enable quotes, one must open the properties of the inbox folder and uncheck 'use custom templates', because they are all set by default to %blank. Then one must go into the program setup under standard templates (these are also all set to %blank, and one must click 'defaults'. After these configurations, it is possible to have quotes work, as in previous versions of kde/kmail. Quite a bizarre setting to have with which to ship the program, I would say. |
