Version:           0.60.81 (using 4.1.85 (KDE 4.1.85 (KDE 4.2 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-7-generic

I'm on Dial-up.  I have about 300 contacts.  When I try to login throught Kopete to my account, It never connects.  Many people on IRC have told me this is because of a timeout.  I upgraded to the most recent SVN version of msnlib.  And still, I'm denied because of time outs.  However, I never get a "Could not connect..." error.  It just says "Connecting" forever.  Also, I'm able to connect via. Kmess, and Pidgin.

How "recent" is your libmsn? You may want to try with the latest version along with KDE 4.2 RC1. Thanks.

Hello Adam,

Apparently your version is several weeks old now and due to a change on WLM servers it cannot connect anymore. Please see with your distribution to obtain a newer package. Tell us if it works or not once updated. Thanks.

I've talked with people on IRC.  I've got the latest version...They said wait until Beta3 is out.

Ok, I've updated to the released libmsn.  And still I can't connect, I am able to connect if I'm on highspeed. But, on dial-up.  I'm unable login.

Is this still happening? I use WLM on a daily basis and I do not have this problem.

Hi there, sorry for the bad news, but WLM has been discontinued by Microsoft, so this bug will be closed.
