Thanks for reporting that crash. Unfortunately your backtrace is of little use. If you are able to reproduce the crash, please follow the guidelines on http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports to provide a better backtrace.
Additionally, we need a step-by-step description on how to reproduce that crash.

I have experienced an issue that fits this problem description - and I have got a more reliable backtrace.

This crash occured whilst I was typing a simple calculation into krunner:

"=240" « At this point I pressed backspace to correct an error, and krunner crashed.

My platform is KDE 4.2.4 using the Kubuntu Jaunty PPA packages from Launchpad.
