Sentry Crash Report:

Description tom 2009-01-14 16:48:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I am using a KDE 4.1.4 from Ubuntu + KDEdesktop.

Each time when I open a new tab (ctrl+shift+n) the menubar shows up and remains unchecked in View->show/hide menubar. If I choose to hide menubar, it disappears in the current tab. But if use shift+arrow key to go to another tab, the menubar re-appears for no reason! and the status of View->show/hide menubar is unchecked again.

I remembered that I had this kind of problem when I use kde 4.0 or something like that. Then this bug disappears. Now it shows up again. This is really annoying.

I need two konsole windows to reproduce this in 4.2.1. If I hide the menu in the one window, it remains shown in the second (and the menu item is depressed). It hides in the second when I switch tabs (or open a new one), and the menu item remains depressed (which is wrong at this time). If I then select this item, the menu remains hidden and the item switches to the right state. If I switch tabs again, all behaves right, i.e. menu doesn't appear again and the menu item remains correct.
I couldn't reproduce this with just one konsole window.

I believe I just fixed this in 4.4.5/4.5 - it works here.
