Even on a locked screen there were shown Kopete messages in the right lower corner of the screen. That's a security risk.
Kopete should hide any notification unless the user unlocks the screen.

IMHO it shouldnt be a kopete bug. The Windowmanager (or plasma, or whatever is responsible) should permit any program on a locked screen.

I checked also my KDE system settings, they are fine and the message should not be shown over a locked screen. Still present in KDE 4.1.96 (4.2 RC1).
Is anyone able to reassign it to the according component, if this is not a Kopete-specific problem? Thanks

IMHO this is plasma bug

It looks like plasma bug. E.g. power management messages also appear on the locked screen.
