In Amarok2, there's an error in the management of various artists/samplers albums.
The album cover is different for every song of the sampler. I think this is due to the fact that Amarok2 tries to find the album cover for every song of the sampler, but in my opinion this is not the correct way to manage a sampler/compilation. In fact, I hope this will be fixed to work as in Amarok1.4 where every compilation had a single cover.
This error is visible in the cover manager too, where you will see a cover for every artist in the compilation.

I think my problem is very similar to this one. In my amarok 2.0.1.1 there are 3 different covers shown for one compilation album. The collection browser shows a wrong cover from another album I have and resetting does not help. It always returns. The information widget for the currently playing song shows the correct cover. Also like in the collection browser the playlist shows a third totally wrong cover which keeps the same for every song in the compilation.

Ill append a screenshot so you guys can see yourself.
