Sentry Crash Report:

Description Daniel Thaler 2009-01-12 10:38:31 UTC
Version: KDE 4.1.96 (4.2 rc1) (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

KDE version is 4.1.96, on Arch Linux, from the official packages in the testing repo.

I have 2 screens, the built-in notebok display and a TFT.
If I disable either of them by running
xrandr --output <LVDS | TMDS-1> --off
KDE immediately crashes totally and I am returned to the login screen.

Thats a new one for me... Anyway, there's a patch available that is supposed to fix (almost) all xrandr-related issues. As soon as its applied Bug #173017 will be closed and people should check again wether there's any problems left and report new bugs. Hence I'm closing this as duplicate of 173017, so you'll get notified as soon as the patch is available in trunk and the 4.2 branch.
