The Konqueror "Configure" window is too tall.  I am certain there is probably
some kind of "Save" button somewhere on the bottom of the window.  I cannot see
it at all, and of course, cannot use it.

What KDE version (or SVN revision) are you using?
Can't you resize the window? This may be related/duplicate of bug 155663
