I can't reproduce here on kde trunk versin. So I assume this is fixed. This happens probably because a different spelling language is set in the spelling options. Go to settings->spell checker and select the language that you are writing. @George Kiagiadakis: True, the strange thing is: that the first window always has the spell-checker not English.. but opening a second composer window has the spell-checker on English(United States of America) I smell a bug .. but I do not run trunk so we need confirmation from someone running latest svn. Also fixing the Default Language to English gets restarted to "Arabic" here .. so even George's proposed solution has to be repeated on every new session of Kmail before composing an email.
