Version:           4.1.87 (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

My system font settings are size 8 and everytime i load kopete with size 8 system settings they are smaller than the system size 8 fonts i have set. I notice they are accually one size below the system settings and look very ugly. If i change to size 9 then they are size 9.. I wonder if it can even handle smaller fonts. Weird. not sure whats going on

Are they the same size in Konqueror?

Yes, this is still valid with KDE 4.3 and above

The sizes are correct in konqueror

Notice inside the chat window how the size 8 font is squished in size, almost its a 7 size font instead of 8. However when you look at the text where you enter your message to send at the bottom it is set at the size 8. Something is off in the factoring of the font size in the chat window frame.

In this screenshot i have manually set the font setting for the chat to size 9 and everything looks perfect. Its just that size 8 that looks really bad.
