Description Georg Wittenburg 2009-01-03 16:51:17 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

Please change the default action to be taken if a system is idle for a certain time (default 15 mins) in the Performance profile to "Do Nothing".

Rationale: The current behavior (lock screen after 15 mins) as perceived by the user matches the one of a screensaver set to lock the screen. It is not intuitive that it can be disabled somewhere else. It will seem to many users as if the screensaver configuration dialog is broken.

Thanks Georg!
Comment 2 Michal Svoboda 2009-01-03 18:46:53 UTC
BTW, I wonder why in the first place does the power management daemon have the option to lock the screen after 15 mins.
