Version: (using Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources When writing in any KDE4 app (both inside KDE and GNOME) words with accents ('`~ etc) won't get written properly. Example: -the word "Chão" shows "Ch~ao". The accent is written immediately and won't wait for the vowel. On the other hand, if I use a non-KDE4 app inside KDE4, everything works fine. This is a KDE 4.1.85 from Kubuntu repos. I've checked in settings and all is setted to Portuguese. As usually, hope it helps :)
