The default font of the new folder separators in KMail as of 4.2 beta (using unofficial Debian packages from kde42.debian.net at version 4:4.1.86+svn902265-0r1) is too large. It makes the separator the visually dominating item in the application. Please reduce the font size on possibly make it stick out less.

I just noticed that this may be due to the fact that on a vanilla installation (into an empty $HOME) the font for the Fancy theme is NOT set to default (which looks fine), but to "Custom..." (which produces the problem described above). See attached screenshot.
