Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources

It`s will be very cool if I can leave in task manager only icons without text. I thing such setting must be in Task manager setting`s appearance section.

What do you exactly mean with "task manager" ?
Can you attach a screenshot?

thanks!

I mean "Task Manager" plasmoid on the panel at the bottom of the screen. I think about ability of removement of the text and leave only icons for the groups of tasks (in my case firefox - that I use because https in konq is broken, konqueror, kwrite, konsole)

Sorry but I forgot that it is plasmoid in new KDE4 when post this wish.
I saw screenshots of MS Windows 7 where there is this feature and it looks great for my mind. So I think that it`s not hard to add such feature to KDE4.

I would also appreciate this option. I think that it woul be nice to have the option [remove text] in order to have a panel with for example only the two following plasmoids : Launcher|Task manager. Thus this panel would be like a dock.

Furthermore, the removal of the text should not cancel the grouping property. Because I really don't like the windows 7 feature where applications are grouped in one icone. I'd prefer the possibility of remove text and conserve non grouped applications.

I hope this is clear.

Instead of providing an option to remove the text, I think it would make more sense to provide an new, alternative task manager ("dock"-style).

By the way, this seems to be a duplicate of Bug 171679.
