Description Andrew Valencia 2009-01-02 04:35:13 UTC
Version: 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-11-generic

On some SSL pages (for instance, Paypal by way of TigerDirect.com), the green SSL icon is not present on the left side of the URL display (although it IS an https page). I can find no other way to view the certificate for the https page in this case, and sometimes I really would like to make sure before typing in, say, my Paypal password.

I suggest "Display SSL cert" be made available under "View", unless you want to rethink and ALWAYS have that icon available on ANY https page.
