At whatever location, type control-c
The new event dialog box opens.
(KOrganiser 4.1.0)

Browsing older bugs, it seems something similar happened before.

This bug is already fixed.

On which version ?
I got the new 4.1.4 Ubuntu package today : bug still exists.

Hello, KDE 4.2 has the fix. (same answer for bug 179157)
