Description mchugh19@yahoo.com 2008-12-29 18:45:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I had setup a few bookmarks for frequently access rdp connections. Recently we changed the name of a server. So I attempted to change the bookmark from rdp://NAU-STUDENTS%5Cmmchugh@area51.otherdomain.edu to rdp://NAU-STUDENTS%5Cmmchugh@area51.newdomain.edu. But it was hard since when I tried to backspace out the word otherdomain after a single keypress the cursor jumped to the end of the edu. After the deleting was done, trying to type newdomain was just as difficult with the cursor again jumping to the end of the line with every key press.

So the process worked as "n" arrow a bunch, "e" arrow a bunch, "w" arrow back a bunch... etc.

It would be cool if the cursor did not jump to the end of the line.

This has most probably already fixed (see bug 172647).
