*** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** I was a voter for this bug, but the "System Load Viewer" 0.6 widget by Matthew Dawson that ships with KDE 4.6 (or at least Kubuntu 11.04) is perfect to address this bug. It's similar to the widget from KDE 3 that I liked a lot. As far as I'm concerned the bug could be closed. Disagreed. It's only for CPU/RAM/swap, but what I personally miss is network monitor with configurable "upper limit". Current one changes scale dynamically which makes it almost useless when in trash: whatever it shows, I never know is it high or low traffic. ksysguard is no longer maintained, in Plasma 6 there is the Plasma system monitor for this task. If your wish is still valid for the Plasma 6 replacement, please re-open and we can move this bug to the new product, thanks! |
