Version: (using KDE 4.1.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages When switching the "show hidden folders" option in a KFileDialog::getExistingDirectory, the dialog jumps to the root directory ("/"). This is very annoying and unexpected for the user. The dialog should stay in the currently selected folder.
