If you need to print the output of a Konsole session you can go to Scrollback -> Save Output and then save the content of the terminal as either a plain text file or an HTML page. You can then print this from a text editor (eg. KWrite) or a web browser (eg. Firefox) which usually provide better facilities for printing only a certain portion of the output, print preview etc. I have advised the users that I support to do waht Robert has advised, however being able to print from konsole itself is desired so I would like to be on the wish list too. I think the save -print "solution" is not adequate and this useful feature should be reinstated. I'd also add that ksnapshot also used to support printing under kde3.5 but does not under kde 4.4 which is just as ridiculous. I'd also add that under 3.5 you could drag and drop or copy paste files into konsole - this was an incredibly useful feature, for install to copy an attachment from kmail into the CWD of your shell. I don't know if this is missing in KDE generally or konsole but it was one of the best features of the system. This is sorely missed. This is a duplicate of Bug 249084 and is not resolved |
