Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

My NumLock has always turning off when I change keyboard layout by the keyboard. When this happend - numeric buttons doesn't work. Identical problem appears on KDE 3.5.x - numlock diode is off, but numbers are working. I've tried to set 'NumLock on KDE Startup' option on 'Turn on' and 'Leave unchanged', but it couldn't help.

I've tried KDEMod 3 and 4 and regular KDE 3 and 4 on Archlinux.

Is it still a problem? If yes could you please provide a bit more information? Which keyboard layouts you use, which key combination to switch, do you use xmodmap (or have .Xmodmap in your home directory), is this reproducable if setting layouts manually with setxkbmap?

Looks like an old bug and I can't reproduce it here so I'll mark it as 'worksforme'. If you still have this problem please provide more info and reopen.
