Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I got used to the Amarok2 UI, maybe a little too much :) Haven't heard anyone raise this yet, and it's not critical, but it'd be nice...

Right now, if you drag a track from the collection browser, the context viewer shows a bunch of options of what you can do to the track (like add to the playlist).

This however does not work in reverse. If I drag a track from the playlist, it does not do much at all. I wanted to remove the track from the playlist then. Might be nice to edit track details too.

Thanks!

The idiom of "drag out to remove" is one which we have specifically stayed away from, as it is unintuitive and causes conflicts in consistency. For example, dragging from the playlist really is a copy operation (copy to device, copy to dolphin etc).

However, it still could be useful to show non destructive actions when dragging from the playlist in the PUD, such as copy to collection (devices).

This is already implemented in Amarok 2.2, to be released later this week.
