Currently the plasma notifications are only shown for a few seconds. Sometimes I can't read the full notification text before the dialog is disposed.

Could you please make it possible to configure the number of seconds the popups are displayed? I'd also like to see the default being a bit higher.

(FYI, in KMess 2 SVN we're using knotify notifications when contacts get online/offline. Some of those have long names, hence the reason I can't read the full text).

The widget-notifier product is for the new device notifier. Moving to the systray product where the notification stuff lives.

The calculation of the notification timeout has a bug (KDE/4.9)
it should create longer timeouts for longer text, but currently always limits it to 5 seconds.
