Well, i will attach a screenshot. It should explain my particular problem rather well. 
When i lock widgets in the paneĺ, the panel configuration button or thing on the right end disappears. Taskbar widget resizes itself, but pager and systray and clock stay at their places. I only get expected behavior when i move taskbar to be the rightmost item.

Strange, the platform sais Compiled Sources, although i'm pretty sure i didn't choose that. I'm actually using debian snapshots: 
ii  plasma-applets-workspace            4:4.1.85+svn898686-0r1
