notes don't get listed in kontact overview when they are created with knotes. If i restart kontact notes are listed properly. it seems that an update mechanism (like kmail -> overview) doesn't work.

Yes --I've noticed this too. Benign but annoying.

Can confirm that newly created notes *do* update in Kontact->Summary, but notes that have just been deleted do *not* get updated in the Summary (i.e., the notes which were deleted still display in the summary until Kontact is restarted).
