It seems like during logging for AIM/OSCAR, the log is not written to disk frequently enough. If I send messages and quit Kopete a few seconds afterwords, those messages do not show up in the logs. Only messages that I sent or received about 1 minute before quitting/crashing show up.

Excepted behavior: logs should be flushed when chat window closes, or when Kopete quits, or if possible, just before crashing. Should be an option to write logs immediately, whenever an IM is received.

This problem persists on 4.2.0--after a crash, the last line I received was not in the logs.

And I should specify that I haven't tested any protocols other than AIM/OSCAR so I don't know whether they log differently.

garbage.angel do you have backtrace of the crash? If no please report it next time, thanks
