*** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** A few things to add to the "Replies" idea: The widget should have dim curly reply arrows beneath the avatars, preferably using the same glyph as is used on Twitter.com. When clicked, the arrow would light up and the text box would be initialized with "@theirusername ". The arrow could be clicked again to return to a regular tweet (the text box contents should be retained in this case). Posting the reply would also return to non-reply mode. And of course, the most important point here is that when the reply is posted, the actual status_id of the tweet being replied to should be sent with the reply, in whatever manner the Twitter API specifies that should happen. Replies, retweet and the subview are implemented, I believe the others would be overkill for a widget, take a look at choqok, it is a full featured microblogging client that propably suits your needs better. |
