Description S. Burmeister 2008-12-14 13:12:28 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

If kleopatra is minimised to the systemtray when logging out of kde, it starts with a window when logging back into kde.

Expected behaviour: do not open a window, if there was none open when logging out.

Yes, this small bug survived to these days (KDE SC 4.4.2). Definitely Kleopatra should start minimized when KDE session is resumed, or there could be an option to change this behavior.

This is also the case using the current Fedora 12 kdepim-4.4.3-1.fc12.1.i686. It's annoying!

Annoying to say the least. Still happens with Kubuntu 11.10 / KDE 4.7.4

Must be very difficult to fix?

Seems to be solved in 4.8.0 (just updated in the Kubuntu Backports PPA)
Comment 5 Emanuel Schütze 2013-05-08 14:06:37 UTC
should be resolved. Please reopen if not.
