It's not, it now saves its State... See: http://bugs.kde.org/165930 Lukas Hi, In the latest SVN version (4.1.85) Kget doesn`t save his state. As I see the bug 165930 svn commit dated as 2008-07-27, but now 2008-12-12. I think it has been broken again. It works here. Beta and SVN... Please describe what you have done... ;) Lukas I have compiled KDE from svn trunk, yesterday. I have enabled kget as download manager for konqueror. So it`s stast at kde statup. I close kget`s main window. I restart my laptop, loggin on, after kde startup kget show it`s main window. Now I`m again compiling kde from svn trunk, and I will check it again. Ok probably it doesn't close correct for any reason ;) So I tested: -start KGet -Hide/Show the MainWindow -Quit KGet -start KGet again -check if the MainWin is hidden or not... Can u do those steps? Lukas PS: The restoring after reboot works on my Beta as well ;) Hi Now I can describe problem for you in details: I can close main window in two ways: 1) Mouse click on kget icon in tray when main window is opened 2) I can click to the close button in window title (button with "X" image) In the first case anything works well, here you are right and I can`t argue to you. But in the second case nothing works. Try: 1 - start kget 2 - close main window by clicking the "x" in the window title 3 - exit kget 4 - start it again. In my mind closing the window by clicking to the "x" button in it`s title is very natural decision for user. So I reopen this bug again. Ok :) Now I get it... I confirm the problem.
