still present in 4.2 beta2 for me , can someone confirm? =) I intended to file a bug to request an option to hide the status bar as well, before I found your bug report. I'm using Kubuntu 9.04 Alpha 2 with KDE 4.2 beta 2, and I don't see an option to disable the location bar either. This bug should be easy to fix and it's highly desired for monitors with a scarce amount of vertical space, as Giovanni mentioned. Developers, please try to fix this before 4.2, it's definitely a must-have for 4.3 if it doesn't make it in 4.2. This gets my vote too - I'm /sure/ this was available under 3.5.x. (I've just been kde4'd as Debian unstable has just merged the 4.2.2 packages - too many changes in one night for my brain!) Adding ViewT0_ShowStatusBar=false to ~/.kde4/share/apps/konqueror/profiles/webbrowsing does the trick in KDE 4.9.0 |
