When trying to add an account in Kopete, the option to connect to the MSN messenger service is not given. There are nine options in total: AIM, Gadu-Gadu, GroupWise, ICQ, Jabber, QQ, SMS, Testbed, WinPopup, and Yahoo. Has MSN been removed?

If you are using KDE4.2 svn trunk, the protocol "MSN" was removed but there's a new one called "WLM" based on "libmsn" (which adds a lot of features of recent MSN protocol version). If you haven't "libmsn" installed at compile time, I suppose the "WLM" protocol plugin won't build.

You've forgotten to build and install libmsn in a place where it can be found by Kopete's build configuration, so no MSN functionality is available. You can get libmsn from www.sf.net/projects/libmsn
