Installed from:    Ubuntu Packages

Not sble to use my photos for background.  There is no hardware tab in the monitor and Display sso I am unable to change my display 1024X768.  Dolphin has no media tab so it vey difficult to read CDROMS.
This version of KDE came with kubuntu 8.10 and is unusable.

Please open separate bug reports for each issue. But more of those I think are invalid (dolphin has a Places that may well serve as media)
