Description Rusty Russell 2008-12-04 01:54:37 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

This happened with KDE3, so it's not new, but it's still there, still annoying.

I restart kmail and all is good, so it's not a particular feature of the mail I'm replying to.

Here's the backtrace:

Comment 1 Jaime Torres 2008-12-04 12:23:34 UTC
The backtrace is almost identical to comment #9 in bug 117415 (but with more information).

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kontact (4.4.9) on KDE Platform 4.6.00 (4.6.0) using Qt 4.7.0

- What I was doing when the application crashed: Hit "Relpy" to an email. Happens about 20 percent of the time. Causes a total Kontact crash.

Thank you for your report. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained and the code has changed sufficiently in Kmail2 so the backtraces are not really useful anymore. Should you experience the same crash in Kmail 4.8.5 or later, please open a new report for Kmail2. Thank you for your understanding
Comment 20 Arne Babenhauserheide 2012-08-20 23:12:17 UTC
I did not get this anymore with kmail2.
