This bug was originally reported at 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdepim/+bug/304430 and has been observed by two users

Steps to reproduce:
  - open kmail
  - right-click an e-mail address and choose "Open in Address Book"
  - kaddressbook will open, but will show a blank page and not the requested contact

In my case kaddressbook briefly shows the page for the correct contact for <1sec then switches to a blank page. This may be related to bug 146902 but I'll leave that decision to someone else.

Confirmed in current trunk too. Maybe kmail is a more appropriate product.

Right, this currently only works correctly if KAddressbook is already started.

i also selected redirect mail, and when i clicked right to addressbook icon, and selected a mail, the redirect mail window did not include the mail i choosed.

Fixed in KMail2 thanks to Akonadi.
