I tried to send a file to my friend with Kopete. I tried dragging it from Dolphin. It just gave me the file path. I searched the chat window, no options for sending the file. Then I searched the Kopete main window, there it was. VERY VERY nicely hidden from the user!

And the sending didn't give any feedback, only when the friend accepted it. Ok, I know this from Kopete KDE 3. But still, it would be nice to give some feedback to the user. At least put the file sending button somewhere people can easily find it!

On current trunk on the chat window the first button is "send file" and if you DnD a file on the chat window (over the log, not on the text box), the file is sent.

I leave this open as "WISH" for the feedback issue.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
