Description A. Mosteo 2008-12-02 14:51:23 UTC
Version: 1.1 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-9-server

While browsing a remote folder via fish://, I can see what obviously are UTF8 filenames as seen with latin1 encoding. I couldn't find any [non-]obvious way to change this, whereas in Konqueror it's under the tools menu (and works as expected).

Confirmed. This issue makes Dolphin useless as a file manager for remote systems, as one must fall back to using Konqueror in these cases.
