Here using: Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-889120 KDE: 4.1.86 (KDE 4.1.86 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081221)) kdelibs svn rev. 902031 / kdebase svn rev. 902032 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10 I can't reproduce this bug. Alt+F4 is catched by KWIN to close the Konsole window. Can anyone else confirm this ? This is probably related to bug 156037 Hum... see this video please! http://localhostr.com/files/3f9321/out.ogv Oh, you are right. @Francesco: thanks for the detailes video explanatio :) I can reproduce it here using: Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-889120 KDE: 4.1.86 (KDE 4.1.86 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081221)) kdelibs svn rev. 902031 / kdebase svn rev. 902032 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10 When closing a Konsole window using Alt+F4 , if they are some input in the shell , it is executed (in the example , a folder is created by "mkdir" , also, a file is created by "touch"). However, if you are in a root session, closing the window using Alt+F4 or even clicking the X in the window execute the command in the shell. I could not reproduce using the lastest svn. I tried alt+f4 and the X button. Are both the people who can reproduce using the french language ( though I have no idea why that would matter)? Here I'm using plain ENglish (no translation files) I can still reproduce this bug with yesterday build: Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-889120 KDE: 4.1.87 (KDE 4.1.87 (KDE 4.2 >= 20090101)) kdelibs svn rev. 905636 / kdebase svn rev. 905636 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10 - Open Konsole - Log as Root - Type "mkdir foo" (don't press Return) - Close the window (clicking on "X"). The "foo" folder is created with root ownership I will try later with an updated build I can still reproduce it here using: Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-889120 KDE: 4.1.87 (KDE 4.1.87 (KDE 4.2 >= 20090101)) kdelibs svn rev. 906253 / kdebase svn rev. 906253 on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10 well I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I still can't reproduce. Latest svn qt/kde* gentoo 32 - kernel 2.6.27 Mh, really strange. May be there's something different between our configurations. I can reproduce this bug with the steps described in comment 5 I can reproduce this behaviour, too. uname -a Linux tacticalops 2.6.27-gentoo-r8 #1 SMP Sat Jan 24 23:01:24 CET 2009 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 4300 @ 1.80GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux I am using KDE 4.2.0 and Konsole 2.2. Qt is installed with split ebuilds (4.4.2). It did not change after deleting konsolerc and folder ~/.kde4/share/apps/konsole No idea. Is everyone that can reproduce on x64? Mmm.. if some time I was able to reproduce this, now I can't reproduce it Here using: Qt: 4.5.1 (qt-copy 971295) KDE: 4.2.88 (KDE 4.2.88 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090527)) kdelibs svn rev. 975695 / kdebase svn rev. 975695 on ArchLinux i686 - Kernel 2.6.29.4 can't reproduce it with KDE-4.7rc2 and konsole-2.7.999 on Archlinux |
