kdesktop -> background -> options -> position: many different screen layout options may be selected, most of them are of little use;
especially the 'scaled' options should be available as 'scaled for each xinerama screen'.

please reassign this bug to kdesktop; it could not be filed for kdesktop directly because of an error.

KDesktop and KDE3 won't get any feature updates from now on. And KDE4 desktop managment is different.
