Quick example of round corner in Konqueror

Description David Heijkamp 2008-11-27 23:52:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

This change request / proposal concerns the way the corners in both html and terminal areas / windows are 'drawn' up until now. Until now, contrary to the rest of the oxygen style, right angles are used. I think this looks like 'a forgotten detail', and because of this, undermines the rest of the style. I'm not sure whether this was designed by choice, or if it's already on the wishlist (I couldn't find it) but I do think it would make this already excellent style.
As an example I added some small snapshots.

It's a problem of the individual applications, and not something we can do anything about from Oxygen.

But we do agree, and would love your help in submitting bug reports to the specific applications. Mind you though that some applications have very old hacks in place that make it difficult for them to change this even if they would want to.

Closing as downstream
