red-eye plugin
Just to show tha the plugin does basically nothing to correct the red-eye problem with the default parameters.
Can you attach you red pupil image to test ? Gilles Caulier Created attachment 28879 [details]
red eye test
Currently the redeye reduction does nothing unless the smoothness is set to 0, which looks horrible. If the smooth value is increased, the image in unchanged regardless of sensitivity and any other settings. I have tried both all the recent betas and svn trunk (some days ago) of digikam and kipi-plugins, and compiled with all the optional dependencies satisfied. I'm using kde 4.1.96. SVN commit 915324 by cgilles: digiKam from trunk : non multithreaded fileter need to be started by hand. This commit fix Red Eyes editor tool which do not process anything. BUG: 176140 M +3 -1 dimgimagefilters.cpp M +1 -1 dimgimagefilters.h WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=915324 This problem is fixed since digiKam 5.x integrate a dedicated tool to process red eyes instead kipi plugin.
