Here (KDE 4.1.3 on ArchLinux x86_64): I can reproduce this bug. I can also reproduce this using KDE4.2svn (today build kdelibs rev.890060). When you are selecting some text in the textarea, if you go outside the textarea and release the mouse button, the textarea scrollbar fastly goes to the bottom, and all the text is selected. I'm also seeing strange text selection behavior. For example, when working inside a text box (form, etc.) on a page, CTL-A should select all text within the text box only. Instead it selects all text outside the text box. This may not be the exact same problem as that reported, but seems generally related to the same konqueror logic. Issue described in comment #2 has already been reported in a separate ticket (bug #121266). Issues described in comment #0 and #1 should have been fixed in KDE 4.8.5 release. |
