If this is solved maybe bug 123720 (turn off spell checking in knode) will be solved, too? I have played around with spell checking in KDE4.3.2 debian/sid. Before this spell checking was somehow disabled. Now I am really annoyed by all the red marked words when typing texts. I would like to turn spell checking off completely. I am using both german and english texts to often, sometimes mixed (english words in german texts) so spell checking is difficult. Also I do not understand when texts are autocorrected and when not. When writing this report auto correction did stop after some words. In knode it did not. I have tried to turn off auto spell checking manually, but it did not help. Also uninstalling aspell-dictionaries did not help?! Is this the right configuration to disable autospelling? .kde(4)/share/config/sonnetrc [Spelling] backgroundCheckerEnabled=false .kde(4)/share/config/knoderc [Spelling] backgroundCheckerEnabled=false Thanks, Gert |
