I was configuring the tool bar, mostly adding things and then putting them in an order I thought would be good. In the 40 minutes since it happened, I do not remember what exactly I did. I did save the kcrash report, which I also hope is the backtrace. it is only my third day into the new computer. 

I also wrote a small note about what I had to do to submitt this bug. Not sure how to handle that. Maybe a wishlist?

1. Hard to make a report when you are said to have the program running while the error message and "please make a report is still running".
2. The need to run Kontact was to get an email I needed to set up a Bugzilla account.
3. So I had to save what I thought would be the needed info. Because I couldn't look at my email because it wouldn't let me run Kontact. 
  I hate circular work. 

Suggestion  - get people to set up a bugzilla account before they are at a point where they need to submit a bug.

It seems to me, that this is the right place to report the bug (hpoefully):
I was filtering out emails by keyword and when I returned to the latest one received, Kontact crashed while i was scrolling that mail.
The mail in question contains several links und some attached imagefiles so called logos.
Please find attached the kde bug report

Changing the toolbars shouldn't make kontact crash anymore. 

Please reopen this report if you kontact from KDE > 4.4 crashes again when adding/removing/modifying toolbars.
