Sound like DBUS error ??? Gilles Caulier There is the same backtrace in #175898 Gilles Caulier *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 175898 *** ok, i am not certain that this is really a duplicate, as the other is about slow selecting when i click on the thumbnail with no sidepanel expanded i get this message and a error popup: QFSFileEngine::open: No file name specified digikam(1966)/digikam (core) Digikam::UMSCamera::downloadItem: Failed to open dest file for writing: "" Gilles: should this issue be reopened and removed as a duplicate? Version: 0.10.0-beta6 (using 4.1.80 (KDE 4.1.80 (KDE 4.2 Beta1)), Gentoo) Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26-tuxonice i connected my camera and its mounted under /media/disk-1, the thumbs are displayed in the Import Dialog, but when i try to view a file (doubleclick or "view" context menu) it fails ("failed to retrieve file ...") the debug output during this is pasted below. The strange thing is: i can download the files though and they are accessible directly from the camera in dolphin without errors.
